POV: you booked the prettiest canal cruise in Amst POV: you booked the prettiest canal cruise in Amsterdam 🌷 Sailing through the canals surrounded by tulips felt like a real-life postcard. This is hands down one of the most unique ways to see the city. 🌷 The tulip cruise doesn’t only run during the tulip season, it’s also available in the Summer too as the tulips are not real. 🌷 Go early morning or golden hour for softer light and fewer crowds 🌷 There are a couple of routes but my favourite is the one that runs through the iconic canals in the Jordaan area #amsterdam from the water just hits different 💛
Türkiye in summer is basically just a constant cyc Türkiye in summer is basically just a constant cycle of swimming, iced coffees, boat trips, sunsets, late night dinners, and saying “this is the best thing I’ve ever eaten” 14 times a day 🌺🐈🧿 Me every year: “let’s try somewhere different this summer” Also me 10 minutes later booking Türkiye again 🇹🇷🤷‍♀️
Tulips out, terraces full, bikes everywhere… Amste Tulips out, terraces full, bikes everywhere… Amsterdam really comes alive when the sun’s out 🌷☀️🇳🇱 A few things I always recommend in spring/summer: 🌷 Visit the tulip fields & Keukenhof if you’re there in season 🚲 Rent a bike and explore the quieter neighbourhoods ☕️ Sit by the canals with coffee and people-watch for hours 🛍 Wander around Jordaan & the Nine Streets for cute cafés and shops ⛴ Take the free ferry across the IJ for a different side of the city 🍟 Try Dutch fries with mayo, stroopwafels, and bitterballen 🌞 Go early morning or weekday evenings if you want the canals a bit quieter
Spring in the Netherlands just hits different 🐣🌷🧺 Spring in the Netherlands just hits different 🐣🌷🧺🌸⛵️🌿🐰☀️🐝 Tulips everywhere, boats full of people drinking wine at 2pm, bikes coming at you from every direction and Amsterdam suddenly becoming the prettiest place on earth the second the sun comes out 🌞 Ik woonde vroeger in Nederland en de lente was altijd mijn favoriete tijd van het jaar 🌷 Zodra de zon weer begon te schijnen en de tulpen in bloei stonden, voelde iedereen meteen vrolijker. Echt niets beter dan Amsterdam op een zonnige lentedag 🇳🇱
