Amsterdam isn’t just canals and bikes (though th Amsterdam isn’t just canals and bikes (though there are plenty of those). It’s one of my all-time favourite cities, a place I was lucky enough to call home. Think cosy cafés, world-class art and some seriously good food. If you’re planning a weekend there, here are 5 things you absolutely need on your list: 🥧 1. Order a giant slice of apple pie at Winkel 43 (the crust-to-filling ratio is perfection) 🛶 2. Hop on a canal cruise to see why the city is nicknamed ‘Venice of the North’ 🚲 3. Cycle through the Jordaan and feel like a true local (bonus points if you don’t fall off) 🛍️ 4. Stroll the Nine Streets for boutique shops, vintage finds and hidden cafés 🍟 5. Try Dutch chips with mayo from a street stall (simple, salty happiness in a paper cone) #Amsterdam will steal your heart, one bite, one bike ride + one canal at a time.
