This is the tiny, colourful Kastellorizo (Meis) and it really feels like one of Greece’s best-kept secrets. The entire island seems to revolve around one beautiful harbour lined with pastel houses, waterfront tavernas and fishing boats gently bobbing in the crystal-clear water. ⛵️ It’s a very small island, so I’d say 1-2 nights is the perfect amount of time. Long enough to explore, swim, eat your body weight in Greek food and soak up the atmosphere without feeling rushed. Here are a few things to do in Kastellorizo: 💙 Wander around the postcard-perfect harbour 💦 Visit the famous Blue Cave, one of the largest sea caves in the Mediterranean 👙 Swim straight from the harbour in water so clear it barely looks real 🏰 Walk up to the Castle of the Knights for panoramic island views 🐠 Enjoy fresh seafood at one of the waterfront tavernas 🌅 Stay for sunset when the colourful houses glow golden in the evening light Slow-paced, peaceful and impossibly pretty. Yet somehow, it never feels crowded. 💙 Mornings start with sunrise over the water, afternoons are spent hopping between pools and snorkelling straight from the beach, and evenings end with dinner under the stars as the sea sparkles in the distance. The kind of place where you arrive for a few days and leave wondering why you didn’t book longer 🌞🌴
