I keep a list of everything in my Notes app and one of those lists is Greek islands. The ones I’ve been to, the ones I still want to visit, my favourites… and the ones I’d go back to in a heartbeat. Folegandros has officially earned itself a very good spot on my favourite list. 💙 Folegandros is one of those places that doesn’t need to try too hard. It’s all whitewashed streets, dramatic cliffs, slow beach days and sunsets that make you forget what time it is. The kind of island you come to for a few days and immediately wish you had longer. Things to do in Folegandros: 🌅 Walk up to the Church of Panagia for the most beautiful sunset views 🤍 Get lost in Chora, one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades 🌊 Spend the day at Agali Beach and swim in that unreal blue water ⛵ Take a boat or hike to Katergo Beach, one of the island’s most famous beaches 🍝 Try matsata, the local handmade pasta 🏛 Wander through Kastro, the old medieval part of Chora 🚶‍♀️ Go slow, follow the little paths and let the island do its thing Save this for your next Greek island escape. #Greece #folegandros | Things to do in Folegandros | Greek islands | September in Greece

September in Greece is my favourite, especially on September in Greece is my favourite, especially on Kimolos 🇬🇷 One of those Greek islands I already know I’ll come back to time and time again 💙 It’s tiny, quiet and still feels wonderfully untouched compared to some of its Cycladic neighbours. You don’t need a huge itinerary here either, which is exactly the point. Save these for your trip ↓ 📍 Wander around Chorio, the island’s main village, especially in the evening when everyone spills out into the little squares 💙 Swim at Prassa Beach, famous for its ridiculously clear turquoise water 🏖️ Spend an afternoon at Bonatsa Beach ⛵ Take a boat trip around Kimolos and neighbouring Polyaigos for hidden coves and some of the bluest water you’ll ever see 🏰 Explore the old Kastro in Chorio 🌊 Visit Goupa and the colourful sirmata, traditional fishermen’s boat houses built into the rock 🥾 Hike out to Skiadi, Kimolos’ huge mushroom-shaped rock formation 🍴 Stop for long lunches in the little tavernas and try ladenia, a local speciality a bit like a Greek tomato and onion flatbread 🌅 Stay for sunset and enjoy just how peaceful the island becomes in the evening Kimolos isn’t the island for beach clubs, big resorts or packed itineraries. Come here for quiet beaches, tiny villages, ridiculously blue water and a much slower side of Greece. Breakfast just tastes better with a view 🌍 When I Breakfast just tastes better with a view 🌍 When I started Instagram 15 years ago, my feed was basically a collection of elaborate hotel breakfasts with beaches, pools and ridiculous views in the background 🤷‍♀️ and honestly… not much has changed. From Greek islands and Mediterranean mornings to tropical tables and city rooftops, apparently a large part of my personality is still choosing where to travel based on where I’d like to have my morning coffee. ☕️ 19 breakfasts around the world… which table are you sitting at? 👀
