Dear Turkish breakfast,

I came for a quick bite and left three hours later, still holding a half-eaten simit. 🥯

Nobody tells you the table is going to keep filling. You think you’ve seen everything, then someone brings out more tomatoes, a little dish of kaymak with honey, and a pan of menemen still bubbling. Your çay never gets below half full because someone’s already coming back with the pot. 🫖

Mostly, it’s the only meal where nobody checks their watch. You just sit there, talking about nothing, tearing bread, until it’s suddenly lunchtime.

Thank you for ruining every other breakfast for me. ❤️

Touristy? VERY. Worth it? 100% 🤤🍕

This little pizzeria has been serving up some of Naples’ most famous pizza for generations, but you might recognise it from Eat Pray Love…this is where Julia Roberts filmed the iconic scene declaring her love for pizza. 🎬

The Condurro family’s pizza-making tradition dates all the way back to 1870, with Michele opening his first pizzeria in 1906. And the best part? They’ve kept things ridiculously simple ever since, no fancy toppings, no overcomplicated menu, just proper Neapolitan pizza done VERY well for just €6!

Expect a queue, grab your number and wait your turn. Yes, it’s probably one of the most touristy things you can do in Naples. Yes, I’d absolutely do it again. And yes… the pizza really is SO GOOD. 🤌🏼🍕 (the marinara is my favourite!)
